The Ibanez MDM1606 Mode is a modern six-string bass built for players who want classic inspiration with forward-thinking performance. Drawing on a familiar offset design, the Mode series blends vintage feel with contemporary playability, offering a fast, stable neck and a responsive, articulate voice suited to everything from tight groove work to technical modern styles.
A roasted maple neck with graphite reinforcement delivers excellent stability, while the poplar burl top and alder body provide a balanced tonal foundation with clarity and sustain. Delta S6J pickups are paired with the Sonitech S 3-band preamp, giving you detailed control over your sound, from warm supportive lows to cutting midrange punch. Finished in Natural Mocha Low Gloss and supplied with a fitted gig bag, the MDM1606 is a versatile, road-ready bass for today’s demanding players.
