Martin D-X1E HPL Sitka Spruce Acoustic-Electric Guitar
The Martin 11DX1E-04 is an electroacoustic guitar with a large resonant
dreadnought body. The classic look and sound of the Martin logo
instruments is complemented by modern elements in the form of renewable
components, composite materials and Fishman MX electronics. This makes
their use completely versatile - from home playing to intensive gigging
with a band.
The body of the guitar is made of modern HPL (High
Pressure Laminate) material in spruce (front) and figured mahogany (back
and sides). The laminated neck (Rust Birch Laminate) is fitted with a
Richlite composite fingerboard with 20 frets. This eco-friendly
material, visually similar to ebony, is characterized by excellent
acoustic properties, durability and stability.
The compensated
TUSQ composite saddle on a Richlite fingerboard, together with the
Corian fretboard, provides the strings with excellent resonance and
sustain. A simple herringbone rosette and a practical tortoiseshell
pickguard add to the austere design.
The guitar comes in a
high-quality packaging (Soft Gig Bag), making it immediately ready to be
loaded into the trunk of your car/van for long or short trips to your
musical dreams.

quite deservedly one of the biggest and most respected names in stringed
instruments. For decades, it has been one of the leading innovators in
guitar design and manufacturing technology. However, to use only the
