Introduced in 1966, the rare sonic presence of President Series Phenolic drums returns in a highly limited collector's edition drum set for Pearl's 75th Anniversary celebration. Pearl's President Series was the first drum set to utilize the unique benefits of hermetically pressurized Phenolic shells. The loud, piercing resonance of these thermo-layered, solid shells was renown for their ability to cut through the mix with undeniable clarity. Original President Series kits have since found an avid audience among collectors and players, as their sound is not comparable with the mainstay woods of modern drum making. 

Each President Series Phenolic Drum Set comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Pearl Musical Instruments President and CEO Max Iishi, to commemorate three quarters of a Century of percussive innovation. This official Anniversary Edition drum set is extremely limited by region.
