I bought the Mahogany Top variant. Let me tell you, its absolutely gorgeous! CD60 has always been a well-demanded lineup from Fender acoustics, and the CD60S (solid top) guitars are excellent! I like the tone, sound is very balanced from the guitar, and you will definitely feel the difference in resonance. Quick tip for anyone who is confused, Black and Natural finishes comes with Spruce Top - sound will be bright, quite crisp, with bright highs. Mahogany Top - sound is more mid focused, mellow, surely bright, and will sound balanced. Choose according to your preference. The Fishman Electronics are definitely better than what comes in cheaper Squier model (SA series). Its very balanced, the knobs work well and sound feedback is really good, doesnt sound too synthetic(digital out of the amp). Walnut Fretboard is nice, comes with Fender strings, which I'll surely change to D'addario just because I think it will add a bit more volume, Phosphorous coated ones. Definitely a nice buy, go ahead with your eyes closed with this Fender CD 60 SCE Mahogany Top. Talking about my purchase experience, no complaints. Johns Music provides excellent customer support, always replies back to your queries. The setup done on the guitar is really good. One point I would like to mention is that while doing some research, I came to know that CD60 range tends to some high action issues right out of the box. So it does look that the setup has been done well. Not a scratch on the guitar. If you're buying online (like I did) you dont have to worry about a thing, they package it very safely and securely. Definitely a 5/5 stars product, as well as 5/5 stars buying experience
